"I truly believe the only way we can create global peace is not only through education our minds, but our hearts and our souls." ~Malala Yousafzai
Given the capacity of today's technology, learning and teaching can be reconfigured to support 21st century ways of work and collaboration among global communities in numerous ways. One of the ways that I chose to implement 21st century skills and global communities into my classroom in the the implementation of a connection with a mystery country. Utilizing a connection site, ePals, my research partner, Karli, and I were able to establish connection with a Nordic Country.
Once the connection was established, our global collaboration project with our Swedish counterparts utilizing the digital tool, Lino, was underway.

We may not have been able to bring the students physically, but with the advancements in technology, we were able to connect them digitally.
